This is an onsite Monday to Friday

Position Summary:

The Bus Driver provides transportation to and from off campus activities, shuttle shopping and medical appointments. This position will work closely with the Resident Services & Life Enrichment in IL and AL for all residents transportation needs. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals. This position reports directly to the Resident Services Manager.

Essential Functions:

  1. Provides safe transportation to and from campus activities, appointments, shuttle shopping, medical appts. and scheduled resident events.
  2. Assist residents with safely loading and off loading (including walking/stability devices –example; cane, walker, etc.).
  3. Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
  4. The ability to maintain business/professional boundaries with all staff, management and outside vendors.
  5. Maintains compliance with company policy.
  6. Responds to all verbal and written communication within 24 hours of receipt.
  7. Attends and participates in Department meetings.
  8. Assists with special projects as needed.
  9. Acts as a positive role model and mentor for staff.
  10. Adheres to company policies and Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program Code of Conduct.
  11. Other duties as assigned from direct supervisor and/or department Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be 18 years old or older.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  3. California Class C driver's license with passenger endorsement for OCW commercial vehicles (to be maintained in good standing during term of employment) REQUIRED.
  4. Must have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years and be insurable with OCW auto insurance carrier.
  5. Thorough documentation skills including grammatical, spelling and organization.
  6. The ability to read, write and communicate to residents, staff, families, vendors, and all business relationships in English language.
  7. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
  8. Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week (upon Dept. Director approval) with the possibility of a varied schedule.
  9. Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
  10. Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff in an effective, neutral and professional manner.
  11. Ability to function as a member of the team in a multi-task environment.
  12. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and changing business conditions.
  13. Proficient in the use of computers and associated software.

Medical Assistant Job Description

Location: Stockton, CA, 95209

Onsite: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant job entails providing health wellness level clinical support and overseeing front office processes.

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals.

The Medical Assistant reports direct to the Health Clinic Manager.

Essential Functions:

  1. Room residents/patients and complete/document as needed - BP check, blood sugar test, O2, temperature, etc., within scope of practice.
  2. Scheduling for campus medical providers.
  3. Assist with coordinating pharmacy needs, order medications and assist with medication refills.
  4. Delivery items to residents as needed.
  5. Coordinate labs, follow up on results.
  6. Respond to campus medical emergencies – complete incident documentation and report all incidents to appropriate party.
  7. Generate list and assist with annual TB test clinic.
  8. Administer vaccines, TB tests and readings as needed.
  9. Provide wound care within scope of practice, verify order on file or request from PCP + put in Matrix.
  10. Oversee all front office processes including managing patient (resident) files, updating charts, EHR, responding to all correspondence, use of all typical office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, phones).
  11. Complete reports timely.
  12. Order office and medical supplies/maintain appropriate inventory within budget approved items.
  13. Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
  14. The ability to maintain business/professional boundaries with all staff, management and outside vendors.
  15. Maintains compliance with company policy.

  20. Provides encouragement, guidance and resources to staff and residents when needed.

  22. Create new medical file for new residents and maintain current files.
  23. Coordinate with other departments as needed.
  24. Adheres to company policies and Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program Code of Conduct.
  25. Other duties as assigned from direct manager and/or department Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. MUST be 18 years of age or older.
  2. High School Diploma/GED required (copy is required)
  3. Must possess a current CPR/1st Aid card (must be maintained to current and active status for ongoing employment).
  4. Current MA certification (must be maintained to current and active status in good standing for ongoing employment).
  5. Must be proficient in accurately updating and daily use of an EHR system.
  6. Must have analytical and critical thinking skills.
  7. Must posses the ability to compile reports based on resident/staff data, electronic or paper records.
  8. 1 year of experience as an Administrative professional, supervisory experience preferred.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. The ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  11. Thorough documentation skills including grammatical, spelling and organization.
  12. If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible driver. Must possess a current State Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.

The final candidate must successfully pass O'Connor Woods post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.
