Job Title: Temporary Secondary School IT and Computer Studies Teacher Location: Sheffield S8 Contract Type: Temporary Salary: £160 - £200 per day Ofsted Rating: Good About the Role: PK Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IT and Computer Studies teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Sheffield (S8) on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students in a supportive and dynamic school environment that has been rated Good by Ofsted. As a teacher at this school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT and Computer Studies lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will be expected to create an engaging learning environment, ensuring that all students make excellent progress in their studies. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (NQTs). Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in IT and Computer Studies to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their potential. Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment. Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and school leadership to ensure the smooth running of the department. Ensure that all students are supported in their learning and that differentiation is used to meet individual needs. Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities. Key Requirements: A relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent). Experience teaching IT and Computer Studies at the secondary school level. Strong subject knowledge in IT and Computer Science. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to supporting students of all abilities and backgrounds. The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse needs of students. A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
