Teacher of Business and ICT

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business and ICT to join our dynamic team on a temporary, long-term basis starting in September 2025. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be joining a supportive department with excellent resources and a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Business Studies and ICT that meet the needs of all students. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement. Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and assessments. Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole school CPD. Person Specification: Qualifications: A relevant degree in Business, ICT, or a related subject. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification (preferred for overseas-trained teachers). Experience and Skills: Experience teaching Business and ICT at secondary level (KS3–KS4 required, KS5 desirable). Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
