TeamTeach Trained Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Reception (1:1 Support) Location: Primary School, Hackney Start Date: 01.09.25 Contract: Full-time, Term-time only Salary: £95 per day A warm and inclusive primary school in Hackney is seeking a Team Teach trained Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience supporting young children with social, emotional, or behavioural needs, and who is confident using Team Teach strategies to promote a safe and structured learning environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide consistent 1:1 support for a Reception pupil, both in and out of the classroom * Use Team Teach strategies to help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation * Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to implement personalised learning plans * Encourage the pupil’s engagement, independence, and confidence in the classroom The Ideal Candidate: * Holds valid Team Teach training (essential) * Has experience working with children in EYFS, ideally in a 1:1 or SEN support role * Is calm, empathetic, patient, and able to build strong relationships with young children * Has a good understanding of early childhood development and inclusive education What We Offer: * A daily rate of £95 * A supportive and collaborative staff team * Opportunities for ongoing CPD and professional development * A positive and caring school environment committed to every child’s success To apply for the role Please call Sean on (phone number removed)
