Learning Support Assistant | Hackney, East London |Full Time | Immediate Trials Remedy Education are on the hunt for an amazing Learning Support Assistant to start this September at our leading partner SEN secondary school. This Learning Support Assistant role will require you to deliver the best academic support to pupils in a 1-1 setting. This is a brand-new state of SEN Secondary school is brimming with passionate educational professionals and we want you as a Learning Support Assistant to showcase your dedicated nurturing personality to work with SEND pupils. Job Details: Role: Learning Support Assistant Rate: £100 - £120 per day Full Time: Monday to Friday Contract: Long Term School location: Hackney, East London Interview: Paid Trials Your main responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one support: Working closely with students to provide individualised assistance, ensuring they have the necessary support to reach their full potential. Assisting with classroom activities: Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, adapting materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of students. Promoting independence: Encouraging and supporting students to develop independence and confidence in their academic and social skills. Monitoring and reporting: Keeping track of student progress and behaviour and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents. Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): Utilising your experience with SEND to provide tailored assistance and accommodations as needed.
