Operations Manager Location: Kidderminster Type: Full-Time | Start Date: ASAP Salary: £60,000 Benefits Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence? This company are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end operations of a high-volume processing facility. About the Role As an Operations Manager, you'll oversee the strategy and daily performance across the key business units. Managing a team of 50 production staff and 6 engineering/maintenance professionals, you’ll be responsible for delivering results in a complex and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Full operational and assembly departments * Maximise equipment reliability through proactive engineering and maintenance management * Implement lean manufacturing principles and real-time performance monitoring (OEE, KPIs) * Oversee resource planning, shift management, and workforce efficiency * Deliver cross-functional projects to scale operations and launch new products * Manage budgets, plan and execute CAPEX projects, and lead strategic investments * Mentor and develop the leadership team across production and engineering What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in a senior operations or plant management role, ideally within manufacturing sectors * Strong knowledge of lean tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and performance metrics * A hands-on leader with excellent project management and people development skills * Commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and capital projects
