Key Accounts Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Qualification / Experience Tertiary qualification (HND or Degree) in Sales & Marketing or Commercial or Chemistry/Engineering, supported by sound base of chemicals. Minimum 10 years experience with 5 years in a chemical sales and marketing role. Key Performance Areas Market & Business intelligence Evaluate Strategic Positions Socio & Regulatory landscape Manage increased value chain of existing products Product & Customer Strategies Trends and Market intelligence to support strategic growth plan. Identify new opportunities fo business (new products and/or new markets) Scan market place for changes in regulations, geographical initiatives that can influence Sales and Marketing strategies. Pro-actively determine threats & opportunities & risks to Business Product value increase for higher revenues Expand customer offering Compile with inputs from SCM, Production, Logistics, Suppliers, Finances 14 Domestic customers, 1 International toll contract, > 10 small International customers
