Job Description

Duties: Caddy Management & Scheduling: Oversee and coordinate the daily roster and assignments of caddies. Match caddies with golfers based on availability, suitability, and player preference where possible. Maintain attendance records and caddy rotations to ensure fairness and consistent work. Training & Conduct: Train caddies on golf etiquette, course knowledge, player interaction and club expectations. Enforce club rules and discipline in the case of poor conduct or repeated issues. Monitor appearance and presentation of all caddies, ensuring uniforms and hygiene standards are maintained. Player Service: Welcome golfers on arrival and ensure their bags are taken and assigned correctly. Ensure golfers receive professional, courteous service throughout their round. Handle special requests from players regarding preferred caddies or services. Operational Coordination Work closely with Golf Director and Golf Operations team to align caddy operations with tee sheet, group bookings and event schedules. Coordinate halfway house needs and ensure all caddies receive the required meals and breaks. Assist with management of caddy fees, vouchers, and tip tracking when applicable. Administration & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date caddy registration and documentation. Manage inventory of caddy bibs, uniforms and equipment. Safety & Welfare: Monitor caddy welfare and report any incidents, injuries or misconduct. Promote a safe, respectful working environment for all caddies. Ensure caddies are aware of lightning protocols and evacuation procedures. Requirements: At least 2 3 years experience in a golf operations or supervisory role Experience working with caddies or similar labour pools Knowledge of club-level golf and member service expectations Strong leadership and team supervision experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and operations Fair and consistent in handling people and situations Basic computer and administrative skills (Excel, rosters, reporting) Fluent in English (knowledge of local languages an advantage) Available to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays Primarily outdoors, with physical presence needed throughout the day Able to walk or stand for long periods
