About The Department Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services, and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint to support our regional subsidiaries and branches worldwide. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services while focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation, and straight-through processing. Job Responsibilities You will be responsible for end-to-end software development and support for all work related to Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects, quarterly change requests, and L3 production fixes. This includes software product implementation, administration, application design, development, testing, and support. You will work within the Data team. You will also ensure quality assurance of the team’s delivery in conformance with the Bank’s software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner with other technology functions to deliver required solutions. Create frameworks and technical features to enable faster operationalization of Data models, Analytical models (including AI/ML), and user-generated content (dashboards, reports, etc.) Partner with citizen data scientists to enable faster adoption of AI/ML models Install, customize, and integrate software packages and programs independently Carry out POCs involving new data technologies Design and develop application frameworks for data integration Create technical documents such as solution designs and program specifications Develop applications including Data Integration, User Interfaces, Automation, and perform platform improvements Conduct performance tuning and root cause analysis in collaboration with support teams Participate in cross-functional teams using agile or other methodologies Job Requirements Hands-on experience with large-scale data warehouses, Data marts, and analytics platforms in financial services, with knowledge of retail banking, wholesale, or global markets analytics Expertise in Data Modeling, Data mapping, and Data Warehouse solutions Experience with industry models like FSLM, reference data management tools such as MDM Knowledge of cloud data solutions, virtualization, and role-based access control Technical skills in ML model operationalization, Data Pipelines, Hadoop frameworks (Spark, Impala, Hive), and programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, Pyspark) Certifications in relevant tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Teradata, Informatica, Data Science workbenches, Data Virtualization tools, SQL, Java, Python, Scala, or automation scripting Additional Information UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
