Senior Sales Representative – Cut Flower Technical

Minimum requirements: Matric BTech or related qualification in the Agricultural/Horticultural field Minimum of 5- 10 years technical experience in sales within the Agricultural/Horticultural field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software Cut Flower experience Strong technical knowledge of cut flower seed, young plants, and cultivation practices Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and industry events Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Key Responsibilities: Grow sales of cut flower seed, young plants, bulbs and other inputs within South Africa and neighbouring countries Increase market share of in alternative cut flower markets Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential customers, including commercial growers, distributors, and industry professionals Provide technical advice on cut flower seed and young plant selection, cultivation techniques, pest and disease management, and post-harvest care Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and on-site visits to educate customers on best practices Work closely with the product development team to provide market feedback and customer insights Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and build brand awareness Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and competitors Consultant: Thandi Speelman - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
