Job Description
About the Role: Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and coordination of our vehicle fleet to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update fleet records including vehicle registration, licensing, and insurance Schedule and monitor routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and mileage Assist in managing vehicle allocation, driver assignments, and route planning Ensure compliance with relevant transport regulations and company policies Coordinate accident reports, claims, and vehicle incidents Liaise with service providers and ensure cost-effective fleet operations Compile and submit monthly fleet performance reports Requirements: Proven experience as a Fleet Administrator or in a similar role Strong administrative and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); fleet management software is a plus Valid driver’s license Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements Qualifications: Grade 12 / Matric (essential) A diploma or certification in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field (advantageous)
