Cost Accountant

Eskort is Hiring! We are looking for a Cost Accountant to be based in Heidelberg. JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS B.COM Accounting or equivalent commercial qualification. EXPERIENCE 3-6 years demonstrated experience working in cost accounting, reporting, and cross team collaboration within a manufacturing environment required. Meat or food industry experience will be an added advantage. Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required. Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Meat Matrix system will be an added advantage. SKILLS REQUIRED Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with accounting software. Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables). Strong time management and organization skills. Sound understanding of accounting principles. Solid cost systems background. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills.
