Job Description
Overall role description: We are looking for a dedicated Bank and Treasury Accounting Process Owner to act as the link between the LATAM markets (Mexico, CAM and Chile) and our operational teams, driving operational excellence and support the overall success of the organization. Ensuring controls, projects execution and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Process Design and Implementation Define the scope and objectives of the process. Develop and document the process flow, including tasks, roles, and responsibilities. Ensure that the process aligns with organizational goals and taxonomy requirements. Process Monitoring Track and measure process performance using key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify and address bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and other issues that hinder process performance. Regularly review process metrics and reports to ensure continuous alignment with business objectives. Continuous Improvement Lead efforts to improve the process through iterative enhancements and innovations. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback from stakeholders and process users. Implement best practices and industry standards to optimize the process. Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, team members, and external partners. Ensure that stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities within the process. Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders promptly and effectively. Training and Support Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for process users. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure proper adherence to the process. Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guides. Education or equivalent experience: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee the implementation and improvement of the process. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively. Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change within the organization. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address process-related challenges and implement effective solutions. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of relevant tools and technologies used in process management and improvement (e.g., BPM software, data analysis tools). At least 6-year experience in Service Centers with specific experience in Record to Report. Preferred experience in Bank, Treasury, Cash Management, Credit Card Payments. At least 6-year experience in Finance & Accounting Function. Advance Level of English (C1: writing, speaking and reading). Other desired experience (not mandatory): Process transformation & improvement Process automation & standardization. Controls and Compliance. Process Migrations. Customer Service. Other desired qualifications (not mandatory): Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Certified Project Manager (PMP). Certified in Scrum Product Owner (SPO). Certified Scrum Master (SM). Location: México
