Applies various orthopedic equipment, removes sutures and staples, and positions various orthopedic patients for procedures. Performs other functions to support Hospital and departmental requirements. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff contributing to effective operations. Delivers service in conjunction with the Hospital’s customer service standards and expectations. REQUIREMENTS : Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field . Experience: Less than one year Education: Preferred: High School / GED Licenses And Certification: Required: Basic Life Support; Medical Assistant Certification Travel to offsite locations may be required to meet staffing needs. Travel will be coordinated in advance to the extent it is possible.
