Job Title: Engineering Supervisor Location: Docklands, London Salary: £60,000 Performance Bonus Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Alternating weekly shifts 6am3pm / 10am7pm Client-Side Opportunity Lead a High-Performing On-Site Engineering Team We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a prestigious client-side organisation based in the Docklands . This is a key leadership position within a large, high-profile commercial property, managing a team of 8 engineers and taking full responsibility for the statutory compliance and performance of all building services systems. The Role: As Engineering Supervisor, you will act as the on-site lead for all engineering matters, overseeing the safe and compliant delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance. You'll liaise with senior stakeholders and external contractors, ensure all statutory obligations are met, and lead a skilled team working to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a team of 8 multi-skilled engineers Oversee all statutory compliance and ensure accurate documentation is maintained Plan and manage delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance Promote safe working practices and compliance with H&S regulations Engage with stakeholders, contractors, and service providers Deliver technical guidance, performance reviews, and development for team members Support budget management, procurement, and service improvement initiatives Working Pattern: Alternating weekly shifts: Week 1: 6:00am 3:00pm Week 2: 10:00am 7:00pm (Monday to Friday no weekends) Requirements: Qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering (e.g., C&G, NVQ, HNC) Strong leadership experience in building services/facilities management Proven track record managing statutory compliance on commercial sites Excellent communication and team management skills Client-side or high-profile site experience desirable Whats on Offer: £60,000 per annum basic salary Performance-based bonus Career progression within a high-profile, client-side organisation 25 days holiday bank holidays Company pension and additional benefits Apply Today If youre ready to lead a dedicated team and ensure compliance and performance in a landmark London building, wed love to hear from you.
