Vet Nurse

VET NURSE LOCUM POSITION Candidates must be registered with the SAVC and have working experiences with both practice and non-practice working environments. Qualified, SAVC registered vet nurse to perform anaesthesia in small animals, along with monitoring some basic treatments and admin sheet of animals seen on the particular day. Candidates should be able to help pick up animals, be able to assess if patients are fit for surgery, induce anaesthesia, intubate, monitor, pain medication injections, vaccinations. Must be able to handle high volume and multitasking. We also travel for work, thus candidate must be ok with that should it be needed. All accommodations and/or meals will be provided. Our work is not of the sort that I can give working hours, it differs per job we do. However candidates will be informed accordingly regarding the days and times.
