SDET Senior (Java)

Responsibilities: Design and implement test strategies for web applications, APIs, microservices, and ETL components. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Spock, REST-Assured, Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, Java, Groovy , and other object-oriented languages. Perform functional and non-functional testing in CI/CD environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and DevOps. Document test plans, test cases, and results to ensure traceability and coverage. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 yoe as SDET using Java. ETL Desirable. 5 years of hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting in Java or similar OOP languages. 3 years of experience testing REST APIs and microservices using tools like REST-Assured. Proven experience writing test strategies, test plans, and test cases. Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments with frequent deployments. Key Skills: Deep understanding of QA tools, methodologies, and success metrics. Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban). Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and facilitation abilities. Ability to influence, lead change, and build collaborative relationships.
