Desired Profile: 5 years of experience in roles such as Database Administrator on Cloud environments. Cloud based database monitoring, provisioning. Database Design and Implementation: Work closely with functional and technical design teams and build data models that are extensible, maintainable, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Security and Access Control management, maintain user accounts and access controls. DB Performance Optimization: Excellent knowledge of SQL, syntax, troubleshooting, optimizations, and analysis Backup and Recovery: AWS based tools and deep understanding of AWS Postgres and other storage technologies. Build and adapt for data model changes, implementation and identify any gaps/short comings in proposed data model changes. Understanding of AWS/Postgres data recovery, archiving, fail-over.
