Responsibilities

About the Role:

Our VDCO team is at the forefront of delivering innovative AECO solutions that seamlessly integrate people, processes and technology. We are currently supporting several large-scale New York State and City agency projects at various stages of digital transformation, and we are seeking a senior/project manager to play a key role in this dynamic, cross-functional environment—where your contributions will have a meaningful and visible impact.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with 5 to 7 years of experience in the design, construction, or operation of complex buildings and infrastructure to join our team. Our clients rely on us to integrate tools such as BIM, laser scanning, and technology solutions into their projects and broader data and technology ecosystems—strengthening construction project controls and driving improvements across the building lifecycle. We are proud to serve as trusted partners and advisors in helping our clients implement digital transformation strategies at agency scale.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering, construction management or architecture. Experience working on Public Sector Projects and CM-BIM services is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with guidance on digital and innovation capabilities; must be willing to work on-site with client project teams.
  • Support the development and implementation of BIM standards, templates, BEPs, and best practices for both LiRo-Hill and client-specific needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, architects, and contractors, ensuring clear communication of project updates, challenges, and solutions.
  • Train and mentor project teams in BIM best practices through both informal and formal training sessions.
  • Lead and manage coordination processes for assigned projects, including clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate and manage weekly coordination meetings, presenting project status, clash results, and actionable items to stakeholders.
  • Produce 3D and 4D visualizations to support project pursuits, communication, and decision-making.
  • Review deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain model-based workflows for visual progress tracking and project controls analysis.
  • Coordinate with field teams and stakeholders to collect and validate progress data through BIM-enabled platforms.
  • Generate weekly/monthly progress visualizations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Perform LiDAR scanning and integrate scan data into project workflows.
  • Supervise VDC/BIM team members and coordinate their activities across projects.
  • Troubleshoot BIM software and platform issues and stay current with emerging tools and technologies.

Note: The responsibilities outlined here provide a general overview of the role and may evolve or expand beyond what is listed.
