Small Assembly Technician - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity: • Job Title: Small Assembly Technician • Pay Rate Range: $20-21.50/Hour • Location: Delano, MN • Schedule: 1st Shift, M-Th, 4:30am - 2:30pm. • Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications: Highschool or GED preferred. Technical background required. Experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings (preferred). Familiarity and experience with hand and power tools (required). Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision. Basic computer skills. 6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. High drive and motivation to learn; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate. 50lbs lifting. Must be able to stand for a majority of their shift and move throughout the facility. Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble panels and wiring components based on detailed drawings and schematics. Use hand and minor power tools to complete various assembly tasks. Read and interpret technical drawings for both panel and wiring assembly. Work efficiently with changing custom orders, maintaining high quality and attention to detail. Cross-train in the Lamps and Changers Area, which involves easier tasks.
