On-Call Allowance | ? 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays About the Role: We're looking for a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join our maintenance team. This is a full-time, permanent position delivering both planned and reactive services across commercial and domestic heating systems. You'll be part of a supportive environment where safety, compliance, and high-quality service are top priorities. Key Responsibilities: Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on heating/combustion systems Proactively identify faults and carry out corrective works Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with compliance standards Execute system upgrades and improvements as required Diagnose and repair faults, including basic electrical troubleshooting Ensure optimal operation of plant room equipment Maintain tools, stock, and cleanliness of all work areas Participate in the on-call rota Accurately complete job reports and service records Support commercial and domestic gas installations Undertake minor plumbing and domestic servicing/fault finding Essential Requirements: Valid ACS Commercial & Domestic Gas Certifications , including: Domestic: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1 Commercial: CIGA1, COCN1, CBHP1, ICPN1, TPCP1A Full UK driving licence Proven experience in a similar field-based role Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Flexible approach to working hours and call-outs Desirable Skills & Experience: HVAC controls knowledge Basic electrical qualification (e.g. 17th Edition IEE) Experience in PFI building maintenance Legionella awareness Knowledge of pressure system regulations Experience working with BMS systems What We Offer: Up to £45,000 salary (dependent on experience) 39-hour week , Monday to Friday Company van and fuel card Paid on-call allowance 25 days holiday bank holidays Training and development opportunities Supportive team environment Commercial Gas Engineer - Liverpool Commercial Gas Engineer - Liverpool Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
