CHP Field Engineer South M4 Corridor (Bath/Bristol) £44,000 to £49,500 Overtime Bonus Van (OTE £65,000) NEOS Engineering are partnered with a well-established and forward-thinking energy business, currently on the lookout for a skilled and motivated CHP Field Engineer to bolster their regional operations across the South M4 corridor. This is an exciting chance to join a team dedicated to maximising electrical production, minimising operational costs, and delivering clean, safe and well-run sites. Key Responsibilities: Carry out day-to-day operations and maintenance, including fault diagnosis and rectification, to keep generating assets running with minimal downtime. Execute planned maintenance schedules and respond swiftly to breakdowns. Share your expertise with Operations Technicians, supporting their development to handle routine maintenance and freeing you up for more complex tasks. Maintain adequate stock of essential spare parts and manage these efficiently. Champion Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, complying with all relevant legislation and company procedures. Minimise third-party contractor usage by leveraging in-house skills wherever practical. Accurately complete records, reports, and keep company systems up to date. Manage your time and travel smartly, with flexibility to stay away from home as needed and participate in an on-call rota. About You: Strong background in Electrical, Heat and Mechanical maintenance — you know your way around everything from 12v DC controls to 415v AC three-phase systems. Ideally qualified to a recognised Electrical level, or prepared to achieve your 18th Edition within probation. GasSafe registered (or ready to be within probation). Hands-on experience with CHP, Natural Gas Peaker Plants, PV, Energy Storage, or HVAC systems would be a big plus. Competent with computers and digital reporting. Full UK driving licence is essential. Self-starter who can prioritise workload, solve problems independently, and keep calm under pressure. What's on Offer: Competitive basic salary of £44,000 to £49.500 including South Weighting allowance. Overtime available.
