Junior Accountant US

Your role at Clorox: As a Junior Accountant on the GBS Record-to-Report (R2R) team, with a focus on Fixed Assets, you will play a vital role in supporting cross-functional partners by executing monthly and quarterly close activities in compliance with U.S. GAAP. In this role, you will: Perform monthly and quarterly fixed assets accounting close activities as asset shells creation, capitalizations, retirement and dispositions of fixed assets, etc. Provide support to internal customers within Fixed Assets Accounting. Coordinate Annual Physical Inventory. Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations. Provide support in external and internal audit. What we look for: Understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement Good verbal and written English skills - mandatory Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in teams and with cross functional partners Proficient in PC Applications (Microsoft Office preferred) SAP knowledge preferred Bachelor degree or equivalent experience. Workplace type: Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home
