Our team, experts in Supply Chain and Logistics, speaks your language and evolves in your world I am looking for a US Customs Specialist for one of my clients in the retail industry. Based in Ville Saint-Laurent. If you have experience as a specialist in all US customs regulations, this is the position for you! Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your role will be, among other things, to carry out all the requirements needed to ensure compliance with customs activities in Canada and the United States. You will act as a resource person for customs compliance and provide support to the teams. More specifically, your main responsibilities are to : Ensure compliance of import and export operations with internal processes and U.S. and Canadian regulations. Take charge of projects, analyze new products and ensure compliance with regulations. Create reports, update and optimize compliance procedures. Act as a customs compliance resource and answer internal and external questions. You must : Hold a degree in logistics or a related field; A minimum of two years' experience in a similar position; Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken; CSS certification; Mastery of Canadian and U.S. customs regulations; Ability to manage several projects at once, and perseverance. With a good sense of initiative and organization. Adaptable and flexible in the workplace. With communication and teamwork skills. Efficient in terms of speed of execution and respect for deadlines. Good analytical skills.
