Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in Capital Expenditures (Capex) analysis to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating, budgeting, and forecasting capital investments to ensure alignment with the organization's financial goals and strategic priorities. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, and senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesCapex Analysis and Management:Lead the preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of Capex budgets across various projects and departments Analyze ROI, NPV, IRR, and other financial metrics for proposed capital investments to support executive decision-making Financial Planning and Forecasting:Drive monthly and quarterly financial forecasting processes related to capital expenditure Provide insights into variances between actuals versus forecasts and identify opportunities for optimizing investment strategies Business Partnering:Collaborate with business leaders to develop Capex plans that align with operational objectives and long-term strategic vision Serve as the financial liaison during project planning to ensure resources are allocated efficiently Reporting and Compliance:Prepare and present detailed financial reports related to Capex, including risks and opportunities, for executive stakeholdersEnsure adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to investment reporting QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred) Experience:5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with a strong emphasis on Capex modeling and reporting Proven experience working with ERP software and advanced Excel skills Skills:Expertise in capital budgeting tools and techniques (ROI, NPV, IRR, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Proficiency in building and managing financial models within ERP systems Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in industries such as manufacturing, construction, healthcare, or real estate that typically involve significant Capex investments Advanced certifications, such as CFA or certifications related to Capex analytics and financial reporting, are highly valued Soft Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across departments to drive cross-functional collaboration Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
