Financial Analyst

We are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team in Scarborough, Ontario. In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing financial reporting and analysis while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial data. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with various departments, manage key financial programs, and contribute to strategic decision-making.Responsibilities:- Oversee the financial reporting and analysis functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.- Prepare and deliver month-end financial reports, variance analyses, forecasts, and budgets.- Administer the sales team compensation program, including calculating periodic bonuses.- Manage accounting processes related to customer and vendor subsidies, including rebates and co-op programs.- Coordinate reporting deliverables to the corporate team, focusing on financial and operational metrics.- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support business proposals and decision-making processes.- Supervise and mentor an entry-level FP& A analyst to ensure growth and efficiency.- Collaborate with management and other teams to improve financial processes and reporting.- Tackle additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the organization.- Proven experience of 3 years in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.- Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and formulas, as well as PowerPoint.- Familiarity with SAP and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.- Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation and analyze financial statements accurately.- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes.- Detail-oriented and thorough, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.- Bilingual French skills are an asset, though not a requirement.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
