Draftsman – Designer

The Draftsman – Toosl Designer has the responsibility for designing tools and producing manufacturing drawings, creating, and maintaining items in the enterprise management system (ERP). You also have to provide technical support from design to manufacturing and from vendors. Role and main responsabilities: Read and interpret tool specifications based on client-provided documents or internal guidelines; Design custom cutting tools using monocrystalline diamond (natural or synthetic) and polycrystalline diamond (PCD), based on a proposed concept, sketch, technical drawing, or existing part; Design and model tools using SolidWorks; Prepare and update technical drawings, bills of materials, and specifications required for manufacturing; Support production teams to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes; Develop and document assembly procedures; Create and maintain item records in the ERP system (Epicor); Manage the EPDM data vault.
