A career as a Manager in the team of Franchise Finance at National Bank is to act as forefront of underwriting and structuring complex hotel financing transactions. Your job Loan Structuring & Underwriting • Lead the evaluation and underwriting of hotel financing transactions, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards. • Structure customized financing solutions that meet the unique needs of each client and project. Financial & Market Analysis • Conduct in-depth financial modeling, cash flow projections, and risk assessments. • Stay ahead of market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive dynamics to inform decision-making. Client Engagement • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through the financing process with clarity and confidence. • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the hospitality sector. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with internal teams including sales, legal, credit risk, and operations to ensure seamless execution of deals. • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Strategic Reporting • Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and deal performance. Basic requirements · Hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial loan underwriting, with a focus on hotel or hospitality financing. · Hold MBA or CFA designation is a strong asset. · Experience in managing high-value, complex transactions. · Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
