Senior Electrical Engineer

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Irene, Gauteng Role: Senior Electrical Engineer Industry: Solar PV & Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Level: Senior Key Requirements: BEng/BSc or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering or higher Professional Registration or ECSA Candidate eligible for Pr within a year 7 years of proven electrical engineering experience Over 5 years of experience in design of Solar PV sites of 1MW (including utility-scale projects) Experience with BESS systems of 500kWh or higher 4 years of team management experience Proficiency in PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD Electrical, and MS Office Suite Ability to interpret and create technical drawings using CAD Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within South Africa and other African countries Experience in commissioning and operations support for large-scale solar installations Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and team management capabilities with accountability for growing teams Excellent attention to detail with sound judgment and logical decision-making skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and timelines through strong analytical problem-solving Comfortable working at heights for site assessments Hands-on approach with ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Strong communication skills to elicit cooperation across all organizational levels If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to engineering.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za Alternatively, contact us at XXX-XXXX for more information or visit our website on: www.stand-outstaffing.co.za
