Role Overview The Data, Systems & Reporting Specialist plays a key role in supporting operational performance, business systems development, and commercial decision-making across the organisation. The role is ideal for a candidate with a background in financial or operational analysis and systems thinkingsuited for individuals from either industrial engineering or accounting environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with business unit managers and cross-functional teams to improve internal systems, refine reporting accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making. The role contributes to performance tracking, budgeting, tender modelling, and business improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop, refine, and maintain operational, financial, and business systems. Build and enhance dashboards, data models, and reporting frameworks. Support tender development, project costing, budgeting, and variance analysis. Assist in preparing feasibility studies, business cases, and commercial-technical proposals. Lead and support process automation and continuous improvement in reporting and workflow efficiency. Provide reliable data insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance reviews. Requirements Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline. 1 to 5 years of experience in finance, engineering, operations, or systems-focused roles. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant data analysis tools. Exposure to technical environments such as mining, civil engineering, or related industries (advantageous) Ability to work across departments with both financial and operational teams. Key Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of data-driven decision-making and performance tracking. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
