Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified Executive Chef for their team in JHB, Midrand. Location: JHB, Midrand Requirments: Grade 12/Equivalent Culinary Diploma from a recognised institution / Equivalent. The applicant must have held a similar position for a minimum period of 2 years. The job requires honesty in the handling of cash or finances The position will require someone who is exceptionally organised, must have experience in menu planning and costing, and be a hands-on leader in the kitchen. About: As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for directing and guiding the food production team in providing a consistent quality of food & beverage services. Standards would guide you to achieve the maximum level of patron satisfaction and organisational profitability. You would be required to create an environment that fosters teamwork and high employee morale, contributing to an efficient and effective operation. To ensure that standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met, while reducing wastage and controlling costs, and to supervise the assigned Kitchen team area. To ensure that a courteous and efficient service is provided to the patron in line with the Companys vision, values and fundamentals. The job's scope will encompass various components, including conferencing, events, à la carte, gourmet, food and wine pairings, as well as fine dining requirements. Salary; Market-Related CTC Deductions for medical aid and pension, which are partially company-funded
