Town Planner

Our client in the Engineering secto r is looking for a Town Planner to join their team for a project in KwaZulu Natal, Kwa Dukuza. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or related field. Full registration as a Professional Planner with SACPLAN (non-negotiable). 5 years of experience in town planning for bulk infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of spatial planning frameworks and regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement spatial development plans for bulk infrastructure projects (e.g., water, sanitation, roads). Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform project planning. Ensure compliance with municipal, provincial, and national planning regulations. Coordinate with stakeholders, including government authorities and communities, to align project goals. Prepare and submit planning applications, reports, and supporting documentation. Provide expert advice on land use, zoning, and sustainable development. Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with spatial development frameworks.
