Quantity Surveyor

Our client in the Engineering secto r is looking for a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a project in KwaZulu Natal, Kwa Dukuza. Desired Qualifications and Skills: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field. Fully registered as a Pr.QS with the SACQSP. 5 years in cost management, BOQ preparations and contract administration for housing projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs) for housing projects. Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery within financial constraints. Administer contracts, including tender documentation, evaluations, and negotiations. Conduct cost control and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives. Ensure compliance with industry standards and SACQSP regulations. Provide expert advice on cost management and value engineering.
