Server Technician / IT Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities: Set up, manage, and maintain internal Linux/Unix and Windows-based infrastructure Install, configure, and support software, operating systems, and cloud systems (Proxmox, etc.) Monitor systems and networks, manage upgrades, backups, and system restores Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues Liaise with vendors and support services as needed Research and implement emerging technologies and trends Develop an outsourced IT support offering for clients Requirements: Relevant qualification in Information Technology or similar Relevant certifications: Red Hat, Microsoft (Azure, Microsoft 365 Admin Expert), Fortinet NSE4 35 years experience in IT infrastructure roles Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching Experience with Proxmox and scripting (PowerShell, Python advantageous) Self-motivated, problem-solver, and able to work independently Own reliable transport and drivers licence essential If you're a technically strong, solutions-driven IT professional ready to take on a pivotal infrastructure role, wed love to hear from you.
