Tier 3 Network Engineer

Title : Tier 3 Network Engineer Job Description : Diagnose and resolve complex Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues across Enterprise Environments. Design, configure, and deploy scalable and secure network infrastructure solutions. Provide Tier 3 escalation support for incidents unresolved by Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams. Administer and troubleshoot enterprise-grade routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and load balancing technologies. Implement and enforce network security best practices aligned with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001) to protect manufacturing systems. Required Skills and Technologies Must-Have : 5 years network engineering in medium to large enterprise Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP Extensive experience with Cisco wired and wireless networks. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Nice-to-Have : Cisco Viptela SDWAN FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiAnalyzer Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) Network automation (Python, Ansible) Cellular Gateways/Technology (OpenGear, Cradlepoint) Certifications to Look For Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise SD-WAN Cisco Certified DevNet Associate/Professional
