About the Role : We’re seeking a Jr Cost Financial Analyst who thrives on solving complex problems, partnering cross-functionally, and bringing clarity to financial data. You'll play a critical role in building and analyzing costs, uncovering trends, and influencing strategic decisions that drive growth and operational efficiency. Responsibilities : Develop and manage cost estimates using S/4HANA ERP Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve costing issues Lead efforts in creating and updating annual standard costs Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP) Prepare COGS forecasts and analyze performance against targets Conduct monthly and quarterly closes, including journal entries and reconciliations Identify cost variances and deliver actionable insights to leadership Leverage tools like Power BI, PowerQuery, and Power Automate to improve reporting and visualization Recommend and support system/process enhancements to drive efficiency Translate complex financial data into clear, business-driven recommendations Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Hands-on experience through internships or relevant work (finance, costing, analytics) Strongly preferred: Familiarity with S/4HANA and/or data analytics platforms like Power BI English fluency required Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and functions Proactive and results-driven, with strong initiative and ownership Excellent Excel skills and a love of solving complex problems Innovative, curious, and eager to improve systems and processes Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
