R&D Automation Engineer - Sint-Niklaas Region - Permanent Position I'm partnered with a company that specialises in the manufacturing of unique machines and installations, these provide renewable energy sources and waste management for their clients in the agricultural industry. They are searching for an engineer with a background in automation/electromechanical engineering to join their team focused on improvement projects for these installations. Responsibilities: Join the R&D team responsible for the design and improvement of their renewable energy installations. Electrical & automation design of control panels. Develop software for the IoT platform. As you progress in the role take further responsibilities in leading your own projects. Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in electromechanical engineering. Proven knowledge in automation, electrical & mechanical engineering. A first work experience in a similar role. Capability to work independently and the confidence to formulate and suggest improvements to installations to more senior members of the team.
