HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract Certified Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/14/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract This is a 304-bed, level II trauma center. This is a 13 week contract that guarantees 36 hours/wk. Extensions can be requested and are negotiated every 13 weeks. Typical procedures include: · Burn: high acuity patients mostly from ICU: wound debridement, skin grafting, dressing change · Dental: restoration (cavities) and oral maxillofacial · ENT: T&A through parathyroidectomy and cochlear implants · Gastroenterology: EGD, colonoscopy · General - everything · Gynecology – ablations, vaginal/abdominal hysters · Neuro – stealth, spinal fusions, discectomy, craniotomy · Open Heart – CABG, fempop, fistulas · Ophthalmology – vitrectomy, cataracts, corneal transplant · Orthopedics – trauma, total joints, sports med · Plastics – breast augmentation/reconstruction · Pychiatry – electroconvulsive therapy · Robotics – gyn, general, urology · Trauma – damage control resuscitative surgery, neuro, ortho, general · Urology – cystoscopy, TURB, TURP, stents Requires: - A recent 12 months of CST experience in an acute hospital setting - Rotating Weekend Call: Rotate weekend call every four weeks. Call utilized to fill evening/night staffing holes M-R and is evenly distributed among team. Typical call shifts are 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours.
