Job Description & Requirements Specialty: LPN / LVN Discipline: LPN / LVN Duration: 24 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Ferndale, WA Top Skills You Should Possess: A valid and up-to-date LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) ) license by the State Medical Board. BLS Certification Ability to work M-F, 7am-4:00pm What You’ll Be Doing: Conducting comprehensive physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit assessments, and various specialized tests as required. Proficiently performing basic lab tests and adeptly handling specimen preparation, medication administration, injections, blood draws, splinting, and dressing applications. Ensuring the readiness of examination rooms and maintaining optimal stock levels of medical supplies to guarantee exceptional patient care. Collaborating seamlessly with attending medical providers during examinations and medical procedures. Seamlessly managing administrative duties, such as patient scheduling, telephone inquiries, and meticulous upkeep of patient charts. Upholding unwavering compliance with both state and federal regulations, encompassing professional certification requirements, patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, and adherence to treatment and safety protocols. Assisting in COVID-related responsibilities, including temperature screenings, questionnaires, vital sign assessments, and testing. Demonstrating versatility by actively contributing to both front and back-office duties as assigned. What You Need to Bring to the Table: A valid and up-to-date LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) ) license by the State Medical Board. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification coupled with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) proficiency. Clinical experience that serves as a valuable asset, demonstrating your dedication to enhancing patient care.
