Job Description

Our Healthcare Facility in Henrietta, NY, is currently seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team! Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in overall management and maintaining high standards of care Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds Ensure compliance and promote effective communication among all levels of nursing staff Address the nursing and medical needs of all residents Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation Coordinate and oversee planning of nursing services Maintain strong knowledge of nursing theory and best practices Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff Manage daily staffing Monitor and enforce infection control practices Maintain scheduling flexibility to respond to changing facility needs Requirements: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a long-term care setting At least 2 years of management experience preferred 1 year of staff education experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Flexible schedule availability About Us: We are a respected long-term care provider committed to delivering high-quality resident care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
