Tax Manager

Our client is looking for a a Tax Manager to join their team for a six-month contract. In this role you will lead activities related to income tax compliance, accounting for income taxes, indirect taxation, tax audits, and transfer pricing.The Tax Manager's duties include:Collaborate with the Director to develop a global tax strategy optimizing efficiency and business outcomes.Evaluate, integrate, and maintain accuracy of indirect tax functionalities within the tax engine for improved billing processes.Establish transfer pricing arrangements and support drafting intercompany agreements in collaboration with the Legal team.Aid tax-efficient cash repatriation from subsidiaries.Support implementation of tax software solutions for streamlined reporting.Ensure robust internal controls for income tax accounting.Respond to audit requests and act as a resource for tax-related inquiries.Assist with tax planning, annual cash tax estimates, and collaborate with external advisors.Other duties as required.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting Master's degree in business taxation or advanced tax courses are strong assetsCPA designation and a minimum of 10 years of relevant tax experienceComprehensive knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and global tax principlesExperience with ERP systems and intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiencyStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
