About the RoleAre you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in both Human Resources and Payroll processes? Join our dynamic team as an HR and Payroll Administrator, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day HR operations while ensuring accurate payroll administration. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for helping employees and supporting organizational success.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration:Accurately process semi-monthly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll cycles using designated payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday).Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll and employee compensation.Maintain payroll records, including earnings, deductions, and tax filings, ensuring data accuracy.Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to support audits and reporting.Resolve employee payroll inquiries, including discrepancies, tax forms, and benefit deductions.Human Resource Functions:Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave tracking.Assist in onboarding new employees and processing terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.Implement and manage HR programs such as training, engagement initiatives, and performance appraisals.Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.QualificationsProven experience in both payroll administration and human resources functions.Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or Workday) and HRIS systems.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and payroll regulations.Exceptional attention to detail and high-level accuracy.Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) and/or a degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.Why Join the Team?You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting both payroll and HR operations, ensuring employees are paid securely while fostering a positive employee experience.
