THE ROLE We are seeking a dynamic Assets Coordinator (Assets and Resources) to join our team. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the PSP Assets and Resources Coordinator plans and coordinates financial and asset resources for Personnel Support Programs (PSP) Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U). The incumbent acts as the Distribution Account (DA) holder for Non-Public Funds (NPF) and Public items and monitors the purchase of NPF and Public items for B/W/U PSP. As an Assets Coordinator, you will prepare Public and NPF financial reports and coordinates financial and asset requirements for B/W/U PSP. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or in a related field, AND some years of experience in asset management/administration or in a related field OR College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and several years of experience in asset management/administration or in a related field OR A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience. Experience In coordinating financial and asset resources In applying policies, procedures, regulations and applicable legislation In budget administration In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail and Internet browsing Knowledge Of financial and asset resources management and administration Of general business practices and theories Of risk management Of budget management Of inventory control methods Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
