Product Support Sales Representative

At SMS Equipment, the Product Support Sales Representative will be responsible for the promotion and sale of products, parts and services offered by SMS Equipment. He/she will strive to increase the visibility and the market share of SMS as a supplier of parts and service with existing and future customers. This position is located in Fredericton or Moncton . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Present customers with our prices, terms and conditions, warrantees, delivery dates and credit and financing programs. Produce and submit to supervisor daily and/or weekly activity reports. Follow up with customers and provide after-sale service. Continuously improve his/her knowledge of all products offered by SMS Equipment. Maintain current knowledge of new products and market developments in this/her territory. Qualifications : The successful candidate must have a Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience. Other requirements include : 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment industry, construction and forestry Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Technical knowledge of ground engaging tools (GET) and related wear parts. Must be mechanically Inclined and have a willingness to learn Work experience on portable computer and advanced skills in web/data base use and research. Must own a vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence. Bilinguism english and french is an asset, because of the possibility of documentation or French-speaking customers.
