POSTING DATE: June 26, 2025 POSTING 297-25 (CUPE Service) EXPIRY DATE: July 3, 2025 HURON PERTH HEALTHCARE ALLIANCE NOTICE OF VACANCY POSITION: REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE, Inpatient Unit Primary Site: Clinton Regular Part-Time x2 (Shifts: 12-hour shifts, Days, Evenings and Nights, 7 day/week coverage, may be subject to change) REPORTS TO: Manager, Inpatient Unit and Emergency - Clinton DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible SALARY: $35.99 to $38.16 per hour QUALIFICATIONS: - Current Registration and Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario - Current BLS Certification EXPERIENCE: - IV drug administration - Insertion of Gastric tubes - Flushing of PRN adaptors - Subcutaneous portal insertion and drug administration - Minimum of two (2) years related nursing experience preferred SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Demonstrated ability to manage a mixed inpatient caseload including acute care, complex continuing care, rehabilitation, paediatrics and palliative - Demonstrated ability to work on an interdisciplinary team including community partners - Well developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to plan, organize and problem solve - Demonstrated commitment to ongoing continuing education - Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications - Able to meet the physical demands of the position Applicants may be eligible for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness and Tuition Support Program for Nurses programs Please be advised that we are no longer accepting emailed or paper-based resumes.
