Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead the consolidation of financial operations across multiple entities. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting scalable growth through sound financial governance and potential automation initiatives.This is a contract opportunity with hybrid onsite requirement.Key Responsibilities:Entity Consolidation: Oversee and manage the financial consolidation of several operating companies, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare consolidated financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses. Ensure financial reporting is in full compliance with applicable accounting standards.Account Reconciliations: Review and manage complex intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring all balances are accurate and aligned across entities.Process Improvement & Internal Controls: Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and implement best practices to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and reduce close timelines.Systems & Automation: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation within finance operations, supporting the integration of systems across the organization.Audit & Compliance: Support external audits and ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready. Maintain and enforce financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance.Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with finance teams at each entity to align accounting practices, standardize reporting, and support operational decision-making.Qualifications:CPA designation required (or internationally recognized equivalent)Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity consolidationStrong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and internal control frameworksProficiency in financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP platforms)Advanced Excel skills; experience with automation tools is an assetProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
