Quality Leading Hand - Trades

Formed in 2004 our client is proud to be a grower-owned business dedicated to producing and processing premium Australian almonds and pistachios. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and quality, they supply both domestic and global markets with safe, nutritious, and high-quality nut products. Our client is looking for an experienced tradesperson with strong welding skills to step into a Quality Leading Hand – Trades position. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring workmanship standards are consistently met across the workshop while leading by example in a hands-on capacity. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all products are tested in accordance with food safety standards, customer requirements, and in accordance with Food Safety & Quality Systems. Ensure compliance to Internal Pest monitoring and recording processes. Ensure all product, equipment and packaging is stored according to procedures. Assist in internal and external auditing process. Ensure Quality Assurance staff are appropriately trained and skilled to ensure consistent and accurate interpretation and assessment of defects. Compile samples for product testing, to ensure compliance with food safety standards, client specific requirements, and nutritional content.
