Branch Manager (Microfinance)

Mircofinance Company seeks a proactive and sales driven Branch Manager to manage its Cape Town Branch. Focus areas will be achieving sales targets (loans and funeral policies), ensuring administrative/financial standards are adhered to and the team is coached and developed. Key result areas are as follows: Ensure branch meets/exceeds targets (loan numbers/loan out/loan in/overdue/collections/funeral policies) Ensuring management of the loan system with regards incoming cash and balancing the system Management and development of staff according to Letsatsi Finance and Loan branch and individual requirements Manage adherence to relevant policies and procedures Manage Letsatsi Finance and Loan business development initiatives at branch level. Compliance with rules and regulations (financial systems and personal conduct) and legislative requirements Reporting on branch results and performance Maintaining good customer relationships Sustaining and growing customer database Keep team updated with product knowledge To maintain branch managers duties i.r.o. credit life and funeral policies: Ensure that the policy information has been captured accurately. Ensure that we do not give advice in the branch. Qualification Matric (Maths/Accounting) National Diploma/Degree (advantageous) Experience 2 3 Years microfinance management experience Competencies (skills, knowledge and attitudes) Sales operations Management Computer literacy Target-driven Financial acumen Leading a team Service oriented Good initiative Reporting Good communication
