Kiosk Sales Assistant (JB5368) Hyde Park, Johannesburg R10 15 000 CTC per month (based on experience) 12-month Fixed Term Contract An exclusive retail Kiosk specialising in curated homeware and luxury gifting is hiring a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistants to join their team at the Hyde Park branch. If youre well-presented, confident, and passionate about helping clients find beautiful, high-end pieces for their homes or special occasions, this opportunity is for you. Youll play a key role in creating a warm, premium customer experience while assisting with all aspects of the Kiosks daily operations. From engaging with passersby to handling sales transactions and managing stock, youll be a hands-on ambassador for this elegant and stylish brand. Minimum Requirements: 2 years of experience in retail or promotional sales (homeware/gifting experience is advantageous) Well-groomed, confident, and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills Strong verbal communication and customer engagement abilities Experience using card machines and processing sales Basic understanding of stock control, returns, and operations Must be able to work flexible retail hours (including weekends & public holidays) Duties and Responsibilities: Welcome customers, assist with product selection, and provide personalised recommendations Drive sales through effective upselling and knowledge of product offerings Operate POS system and process card transactions Handle product exchanges or returns according to company policy Conduct stock checks and support with inventory control Maintain kiosk cleanliness and merchandising standards Assist in unpacking new stock and setting up promotional displays Actively participate in team discussions to improve service and sales performance
