Job Description
Responsibilities: Keep client extranets updated with availability and manage the in-house allocation system Work as part of the availability desk and support the FIT team Enter FIT bookings into reservation systems and handle any cancellations or amendments Manage and maintain accurate information within client data files Demonstrate flexibility and undertake reasonable tasks as requested by the company Assist the accounts department in following up on late payments if required Requirements: Advanced spoken and written English Additional languages such as Italian, French, or Spanish (Advantageous) Understanding of allocation and free sale concepts is preferable Basic experience in travel reservationsideally for a hotel group or tour operatoris preferred, though not essential Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and dedicated, with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and maintain a team-focused approach Good understanding of percentages and gross vs. net rates Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
